Historically in Chinese culture, Yellow is considered to be the color of the emperor. Embodying the beauty of heavenly virtues, it also pays homage to the god of earth. Blue is the color of scholars, embodying qualities such as composure, persistence and ambition.
NTU Assam Tea (camellia): There are over 300 species of camellia on Mt. Fenghuang, many of them native to Taiwan. Camellia is used as the design inspiration to draw association with the cultivating region. The packaging is constructed with an elegant and graceful approach so as to convey the uniqueness of NTU Tea.
NTU Oolong Tea (mountain range): Mountainous landscape and wafting fog are images associated with the scenery of Mt. Fenghuang. The swirling cloud and mist on the vast mountaintop portray a paradise-like landscape. This concept also implies a sense of Zen about tea.
NTU Oolong Black Tea (mountain and camellia): The primary difference in packaging between NTU Oolong Tea and NTU Assam Tea are the mountain landscape and camellia. These two themes are merged and applied to create a different imagery for NTU Oolong Black Tea.
